⑤理解医患关系是一个动态的关系，医生应根据情况适时做出调整；
⑥医患关系是围绕着疾病的诊疗而形成的，也只应局限于求医和提供医疗帮助的过程，不能发展任何超出此范围的人际关系。
当前和谐医患关系越来越受到重视，医护人员同时承担着管理者、沟通者、照顾者、代言者、保护者及教育者等多重角色。因此，医护工作者不仅要有良好的政治素质、心理素质，而且要有高深的专业素质、广博的人文素质。
